Responses to Forecasts of Slightly Less Insane Republican Debate

On Tuesday Republican frontrunner Donald Trump announced he would be dropping out of the Republican debate scheduled for Thursday evening. Here are some responses to the news:

“Can I take the day off too?” –Ben Carson

“On an unrelated note, there will be a new episode of Celebrity Apprentice airing at the same time as the debate. Watch my show. Not the debate.” –Donald Trump

“Aw, this is going to be boring now!” –Jeb Bush

“I think I might check out that new episode of Celebrity Apprentice instead.” –a Trump supporter

“Why I oughta…” –Ted Cruz

“That misogynist asshole isn’t coming back? Cool!” –Megyn Kelly

“It’s fun to watch them play like little kids. Make way for the grown-ups, you guys.” –Hillary Clinton
